This didn’t start as a plan. It started with obedience.
This podcast was something the Lord placed on my heart. I couldn’t shake it. It came from noticing a pattern in the conversations I was already having with women. No matter their background or season of life, so many were quietly struggling with the same things, identity and purpose.
Who am I really? What am I supposed to be doing?
I felt led to create a space to start talking about it, even before I fully understood what it would become. That’s where The Beauty in Burnt Toast began.
Not long after that, Courtney found me on TikTok and reached out. She had just moved to the area, and we ended up going to the same church. When we finally met, it just clicked.
What started as connection quickly turned into deeper conversations, the kind that are honest, unfiltered, and sometimes a little messy, but always real.
Over time, it became clear she wasn’t just meant to be part of the conversation. She was meant to help carry it.
Now, The Beauty in Burnt Toast is something we walk out together. We’re not here because we have all the answers. We’re here because we’re willing to talk about it.
